Design iteration
Being from Cleveland, I was fortunate for the opportunity to lead the design for Cleveland Cavaliers'
Donovan Mitchell's 8th signature footwear model.
Inspiration for the project was driven from Don's multidirectional explosive style of play and movement:
- The design is centered around a dual-inject midfoot containment cradle, built to contain lateral motion.
- The upper features a layered foam web grid for lightweight support.
- The traction is designed for multidirectional movements and pivot points unique to Donovan Mitchell.
